Always keeping an eye out for grants and funding, here is what is open or coming up in due date order, plus programs and opportunities that you can tap into now:

And even though this next one has closed, I\’d suggest you keep an eye out for the next round, as well as what the themes are in grants and funding at the moment.

eCommerce Accelerator Program (eCAP)

Applications close 17 May 2021 with info here.

See guidelines and grants up to the value of $100,000 (exc. GST) are available under the following three categories, to support eligible exporters fund expenditure incurred in building new capability:

  • New to eCommerce
  • eCommerce Accelerator
  • Cluster Projects

The FIXE Scholarship Program

Grants for high growth potential businesses for professional development and training.

Grants from $1,000 – $5,000 are available for founders or key team members of high growth potential businesses to participate in professional development and training programs of their choice:

  • in leadership, management, innovation and resilience
  • to help adapt to tough economic conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funding will be awarded through a competitive selection process, with a 2:1 matched funding requirement – with $2 government to $1 business contribution.

Hills & Coast Business Grant

The purpose of the Hills & Coast Business Grant is to support business growth through:

  • novel and/or creative approaches to business growth, or;
  • addressing challenges and/or barriers to growth.

Available funding:

  • Funding pool: $60,000
  • Minimum single grant: $1,000
  • Maximum single grant: $10,000

Your project will benefit the economy and/or liveability of the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula or Kangaroo Island.

The proposed project must be completed by 31/12/2021.

Completed applications must be submitted by 5:00PM Friday 21st May, 2021 by email to: info@rdahc.com.au

Eligible applications will be assessed against:

  1. a) The fund Assessment Criteria in the fund application form.
  2. b) Completeness of application.
  3. c) Value.

Successful applicants will be required to provide a project report by 31st January 2022.

Industry Leaders Fund

The Industry Leaders Fund offers grants to help those with industry leadership potential and aspirations to achieve their aims sooner than would otherwise be possible.

Successful recipients receive up to $50,000 to develop their leadership skills, experience and knowledge through education, and/or training at best practice work places. The grants support individuals who can demonstrate their:

  • leadership potential, interest and abilities through a history of roles at work and/or in the broader community
  • interest in sharing the benefit of their talents, knowledge and achievements with the industry in which they work and the community in which they live.

The Council for Australian-Arab Relations (CAAR) 2021-22 Grant Round – Open from 7 April to 2 June 2021

Successful grant proposals will align with at least one of the CAAR 2021-22 Grant Round priority themes of:

  • Arts and Culture
  • Health and Sport
  • Tourism
  • Education
  • Gender equality
  • Sustainability

QBE Foundation local grants in Australia

Please submit your completed application form via email to foundationgrants@qbe.com before midday AEST on Monday 7 June 2021.

Australia Pacific QBE Foundation local grants are a way for us to provide meaningful support for community initiatives addressing specific areas of need.

We have reinvented our Australian local grants program in 2021 and now invite like-minded Australian charities to apply directly to us to be considered for a grant of up to AUD $25,000.

Australia-Japan Foundation Grants Program

The AJF 2021 Grant Round is now open. Submissions close 2pm AEST 9 June 2021.  The Australia-Japan Foundation welcomes grant applications from individuals and organisations with an interest in contributing to the bilateral relationship.

  • Communication, information and advocacy
  • Economic diplomacy and geopolitics

AMP\’s Tomorrow Fund

This program aims to fund Australians doing great things in the community.

Grants between $5,000 and $100,000 are available.

A total funding pool of $1 million is available.

This program is available annually. Applications must be submitted by 4pm AEST on 9 June 2021.

Australia-Korea Foundation (AKF) Grant Round 2021-22

Submissions are now being accepted. Submissions close at 1:00PM 21 June 2021 (AEST).

National Careers Institute Partnership Grants – Round Two

The National Careers Institute Partnership Grants program provides grants to deliver innovative career guidance services for people at all stages of their careers.

Close date: 23 Jun 2021 05:00 PM AEST.

What do you get?

Grants from $20,000 to $525,000, with a maximum of $350,000 paid per year, for projects up to 18 months.

Who is this for?

Grants are for entities that contribute to career guidance services including industry, employers, schools, local and state governments.

Regional Growth Fund 2021-22

This year $15 million has been allocated for the Regional Growth Fund.

The 2021-22 Fund will support:

  1. Up to $5 million for the Regional Growth Fund Competitive Grants – applications are now open and will close 12 noon on Monday 12 July 2021.
  2. $10 million for the Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development to commit to strategic regional growth projects – open year-round for applications.

Funding will be provided for projects that deliver tangible benefits to regional South Australia. This may include new or improved capital works, infrastructure, facilities and similar investments.

Applicants are expected to contribute at least half of the total financial costs of the project.

Applications to the Regional Growth Fund are limited to:

  • Local Government bodies
  • Incorporated Associations
  • Registered Charity/Company Limited by Guarantee
  • Co-operatives
  • Business Clusters

Applicants can seek grants from $50,000 up to $2 million.

Applications will close 12 noon on Monday 12 July 2021.

Global Innovation Fund (GIF)

This program seeks to invest in social innovations that aim to improve the lives and opportunities of millions of people in the developing world. It is a hybrid investment fund that supports the piloting, rigorous testing, and scaling of innovations targeted at improving the lives of the poorest people in developing countries.
